Our establishment consisting of seven air-conditioned rooms, an open air and an in-house restaurant, and a bar, is situated on the northern shore of Edremit Gulf, and on the skirts of Mount Ida. The hostelry is 8 km. from Assos, and is located in a garden by the seaside, flush with plants and flowers, and dotted with olive trees. The operation is run by a lady and her family from İstanbul, and who are all enthralled by the virgin beauty of the northern Aegean region.
At Lila Motel, as you sun yourself at the beach, and enjoy the cool waters of northern Aegean, you can set your sights on Ayvalık, and Lesbos, straight across the sea. Conversely, you may choose among the hammocks, swing-seats, or chaise-longues spread amongst the greenery of the garden, to rest your eyes, or read your favourite who-dunit. You may rest assured that at our place you will experience one of the best combinations of blue and green.
We are very particular that apart from the sounds of the sea, and the chirping of the birds, no sounds should reach your ears, with the possible exception of some classical music, light jazz, or Mediterranean and Latin rhythms. We believe that this is the right place for guests who wish to rid themselves from the stresses of metropolitan life, and rest in a peaceful environment that obtains from being one with nature.

We hope to appeal to the distinguishing palates of our guests through meticulously prepared fresh breakfasts served at the table, and lunch and dinner fare prepared from fresh fish and meat, and enriched by the multifarious herbs and vegetables peculiar to the Aegean kitchen. As our menu addresses a fairly wide spectrum of tastes, we believe that our food shall bring spiritual, as well as bodily satisfaction to our patrons.
It is our fervent hope that as time progresses Lila assumes the aura of a private club, where our guests share a common concept of rest and recreation, and enjoy similar pleasures.
